Arthur Meets the Ultimate Inventor

The elderly inventor of the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Corporation died and went to Heaven.

At the gates, St. Peter greeted Arthur and said, “Since you’ve been such a good man, and your motorcycles have changed the world, your reward is that you can spend time with anyone you want in Heaven.”

Arthur thought for a moment and then said, “I want to spend time with God.”

St. Peter took Arthur to the Throne Room and introduced him to God. Arthur smiled and asked, “Weren’t You the inventor of women?”

God replied, “Yes, I was.”

“Well,” said Arthur, “professional to professional, I think your invention has a few major design flaws.”

God looked surprised and asked, “What flaws are you talking about?”

Arthur pulled out a list and began reading:

  1. There’s too much inconsistency in the front-end protrusions.
  2. It chatters constantly at high speeds.
  3. The intake is placed way too close to the exhaust.
  4. The maintenance costs are outrageous.

God smiled and replied, “You may have a few good points, and it may be true that My invention has some flaws. But the last time I checked, more men are riding My invention than yours.”
